Developed to fill and protect joints in industrial concrete floors that are subject to hard wheeled material handling traffic and heavy loads. Supports traffic and protect joint edges from spalling. Should be installed full joint depth in saw-cut control joints (or 2'' min. in joints where depth exceeds 2'') per PCA and ACI guidelines. In construction (formed) joints that are not saw-cut, should be installed 2'' deep. If shrinkage crack is excessive and needs to be ''choked off,'' it may be sealed with dry silica sand. Designed for use where final temperatures are from 40F (10C) to +120F (49C). Item No. Description MM80-P-SG-10 10 gal. Kit, Gray METZGER/MCGUIRE ARMOR-HARD CONCRETE EPOXY KIT W/AGGREGATE A two-component, 100% solids epoxy with early set properties. Developed specifically for the repair of industrial concrete floors to handle intense traffic. Use with sand aggregate creates a trowelable mortar and then can also be used as a liquid for some repairs. Typical Uses: As a mortar it can do spall repairs/rebuilding of joint shoulders, as a topping for delaminated slabs, fill in holes, gouges, ruts, pop outs, and repair broken slab panel corners. As a liquid, it fills wider random cracks and bonds concrete to itself. Color of the blended epoxy is translucent/clear. Mortar color will be the color of the aggregate. Limitations: DO NOT use in joints or cracks that move, as a surface coating, and for deep repairs install in max 1'' (25 mm) deep layers to avoid shrinkage due to exotherm. It should be installed at or higher than 50°F (10°C). Pedestrian/construction traffic in 3-4 hours, Grinding/sanding in 3-4 hours, Hard-wheeled traffic in 8 hours or less, At 70°F it does not require separate primer, USDA/FDA acceptable, Superior impact, abrasion and chemical resistance, very low odor. Item No. Description AHLV-PART-A-1 1 gal.
